PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
QC COLOR CURE is a ready-to-use, water-based emulsion specifically designed for use as
both a color matched curing membrane and sealer, which cures and protects architectural
colored concrete and simultaneously accentuates the color of the concrete. QC COLOR CURE
can be applied to interior and exterior concrete substrates. QC COLOR CURE has excellent
oil and water resistance, good exterior durability and complies with slip resistance of
ASTM D-2047, ASTM C 309 and ASTM C 156 requirements for concrete curing compounds. QC
COLOR CURE also complies with V.O.C. regulations (less than 250 g/l V.O.C content).
FEATURES & BENEFITS
IMPROVES COLOR CONSISTENCY
ENHANCES SURFACE STRENGTH
PROVIDES ADDED RESISTANCE FROM GREASE,OIL AND FOOD STAINS
EASIER TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN
WIDE RANGE OF STANDARD AND CUSTOM COLORS
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Mix well before using. QC COLOR CURE will be set to touch in about 20
minutes. It will dry hard in about one hour and will be ready for traffic in about 24
hours. Apply in thin coats only.
CURING NEW CONCRETE - Apply QC COLOR CURE, without dilution, by spray using a low pressure
or pump sprayer with a fan tip, (optional - each application may be spread more uniformly
using a clean, dry finishing broom). QC COLOR CURE should be applied when the concrete has
set enough to be walked on without marring the surface and surface moisture has
evaporated. For compliance with ASTM. C-309 and ASTM C 156 (Curing Fresh Concrete), apply
QC COLOR CURE at an average rate of 300 to 400 square feet per gallon (27.9 to 37.2 square
meters per 3.8 liters). One coat is normally sufficient at the above coverage rate for
adequate curing.
SEALING EXISTING CONCRETE - Surface must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and dry before
sealing. Apply one coat using a sprayer (as above) or lambswool applicator. For very
porous surfaces, a second coat may be required. Do not allow to puddle. Allow each coat to
dry before applying subsequent coats. Coverage will vary with the porosity of the surface,
but will average 400 to 500 square feet per gallon (37.2 to 46.5 square meters per 3.8
liters).

| Coverage |
Varies. Curing new concrete: 300 - 400 square feet per
gallon (27.9 to 37.2 square meters per 3.8 liters).

| Maintenance |
It is highly recommended to develop and follow a
routine maintenance schedule for all colored concrete so that it will maintain a top
quality appearance. QC COLOR CURE may be maintained by sweeping, dirt may be hosed off or
surface may be cleaned by scrubbing with stiff brush (do not use metal brush) and diluted
commercial detergent. As material wears, a fresh coat of QC COLOR CURE can be applied (See
Sealing Existing Concrete under Directions For Use). |
