Regal Mfg. Co. Div.  Overhead and Vertical Glazing Systems

SOLARVIEW 2300 Series

A 3" DEEP STRUCTURAL RAFTER SYSTEM

The SOLARIUM 2300 and 2400 commercial skylight framing systems, with their 3" and 4" deep rafters, respectively, are state of the art products.  Both I-Beam Rafters, for economy, and Tubular Rafters, for the cleanest possible sight lines and greater strength, are available. They feature numerous purlin, mounting and glazing cap options and can be tape, dry, or structural silicone glazed. Many options are shown on pages 5, 6, 7 and 11.

These products offer our unique ball and socket tilt mount system. On most installations, this mounting method eliminates the need for sloped curb construction or special supports at the sill. The tilting main frames can rotate up to 125 degrees to accommodate any angle of slope (see page 11). The SOLARIUM 2300 and 2400 systems are also available with the older, inclined curb (ledger) mounting methods commonly used in the commercial skylight industry. Nearly any anodized or painted finish is available.

Multiple cascade condensation gutters surrounding each light are standard and cause any condensate to drop when transitioning from one member to the next on its path to the exterior. The condensate exists through our advanced hooded weep holes.

Their extreme versatility, combined with their many quality features of design, sturdy, weathertight construction and rapid installation and glazing make the SOLARVIEW 2300 and 2400 systems excellent choices for nearly any project.
