MONUMENTAL STRUCTURAL OVERHEAD GLAZING SYSTEMS
The SOLARVIEW 2600 through 3200 monumental skylight
framing systems, with their 6", 7", 8", 9", 10, 11" and 12"
deep structural tubular rafters, respectively, are perfect for heavy loads and/or long
spans. The rafters are some of the strongest in the industry. The SOLARVIEW 3200 series is
capable of spanning over 50 feet, depending upon the angle of inclination, rafter spacing
and live and dead load requirements.
Tilting main frames allow these systems to be installed
on a flat curb and rotated to any angle of inclination. Standard ledger mounting methods
are also available.
Our monumental systems can be tape, dry or structural
silicone glazed, and can be glazed with virtually any type and thickness of glazing
material. A wide range of purlin, glazing cap and other options are available (see page 11).
Continuous, multiple cascade condensation gutters
surround each light and cause condensate to drop when transitioning from one member to the
next on its path to the exterior. The condensate exits through our sophisticated hooded
weep holes.
Thermally broken versions of the main frames are
available, and the systems are available in nearly any anodized or painted finish. The
SOLARVIEW 2600 through 3200 systems offer clean lines, rapid installation, supreme weather
integrity and many other features, making them an exceptional choice for skylighting
projects with significant load and/or span requirements.
