| Ultrasonic Profile Mapping is programmed on the initial front-to-rear wash pass; each vehicle's shape and dimensions are detected by ultrasonics and stored in the computer's memory. This directs the SoftGloss XS™ when to turn the top halves of the tall arms on and off. It also knows when a pickup is being washed and when to raise the top washer, preventing it from going into a pickup bed.
