Note - for U.S.P.S. serviced installations, the tenant
locks in the top tier of mail-boxes must be no more than 67" above the finished floor
and the inside bottom of the lowest tier must be no less than 28" above the finished
floor.
SUGGESTED
ARCHITECTURAL SPECIFICATIONS
Furnish and install standard horizontal 3600 series mailboxes. Specify front or rear
loading. If front loading, specify for U.S.P.S. mail delivery or for private mail
distribution. Materials, sizes and construction shall comply with current mailbox
regulations. Framing materials and fasteners required for proper installation shall be
provided by the contractor.OPTIONS
- Master Commercial Lock (#3675) - if front loading units are
for private mail distribution
- Trim (#3613) - snap-on peripheral trim 1-3/4" W x
1/4" D - for each rear loading unit
DOOR IDENTIFICATION
Each mailbox door includes a 2" W x 5/8" H clear plastic card holder to identify
the tenant's name and/or box number. Self-adhesive numbers (1-3000 available) are supplied
upon request with a standard order. The numbers shall be directed by architect or owner.
Custom identification systems are available as an option upon request.
LOCKS
STANDARD
Each mailbox door includes a five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with two (2) keys (1,000
different key changes).
