Miconic A operating controls manage the functions of
detecting calls from car pushbuttons, illuminating direction indicators and controlling
door operation.
The Schindler Traffic Sentinel™ carefully monitors door closing. With
its nudging feature, Traffic Sentinel works in conjunction with the door protection system
to adjust the time doors remain open for passengers.
The Schindler door protection system brings another
advancement in elevator technology to your building. The system detects the presence of
passengers or objects in the doorway without touching them. The system also is sensitive
to touch, sensing both stationary and moving objects. Additionally, the absence of moving
parts in the detector contributes to even quieter door operation.
Miconic A door operation parameters are preselected to
reflect optimum elevator operating conditions. These parameters can be adjusted easily on
site to meet specific requirements. Special provisions for physically impaired passengers,
such as audible door nudging and floor passing signals, are available. |
