The Chess Player
The Chess Player is AITP's analytical brain, the key to its
ability to evaluate every possible permutation of landing call allocation.
Like a Grand Master, Chess Player calculates several steps
ahead, and is supported by specific tools to achieve this.
The traffic model module
evaluates input from the VES within its neural network and predicts probable future
passengers and landing calls. It also learns from observation and self-improves.
The simulator, or 'What if?'
module, predicts waiting and travel times for each individual passenger for all
probable landing call allocations.
The look ahead module evaluates these
projections qualitatively, assigning penalties or bonus points based on how well the
projections match ideal car distribution.
The criteria module enters 'perceived
waiting time' factors into the solutions searcher to give increasing priority to older
calls. |
