| Notes : Refer any special
conditions to your local sales representative. (i)
Maximum allowable inside car area in square feet ASME A17.1 Rule 207.1 and CAN/CSA-B44
3.9.
(ii) 2SSO door system only.
(iii) Dimensions K (under beam), N (clear
overhead), and OH (total overhead) are based on 8'-0" (2438mm) high cab and
7'-0" (2134mm high opening. For heights larger than these, increase K, N and OH
accordingly.
(iv) Dimension OH (total overhead) is
based on 15" (381mm) machine beam and 4" (102mm) thick machine room slab.
(v) Dimension P (pit depth) and M (car
overtravel) are based on full stroke buffers and Whisperflex compensation.
(vi) Reactions at E, F, G and H are based
on ASME A17.1 Rule 105.2 and CAN/CSA-B44 2.6. Weight of slab not included. Reactions based
on maximum cab weight allowed and maximum travel. Final reactions determined by elevator
shop drawings.
(vii) Dimension C must increase 5"
(127mm) when cwt. safety is required. Dimension P or OH (not both), N and M may increase
when cwt. safety is used depending on travel.
(viii) Dimensions shown are for single
cars. Machine room dimensions for multicar banks will vary.
(ix) Adequate steel or concrete beam or
concrete wall supports are required for rail mounting brackets based on elevator shop
drawing loadings at each floor per ASME A17.1 Rule 200.9 and CAN/CSA-B44 3.2.5.2. Mounting
and interface between building support and rail bracket to be in agreement between
customer and elevator contractor.
(x) Beams around hoistway to support rail
brackets to be on same vertical centerline, if possible, and to be located no further than
24" (610mm) from centerline of steel beam or edge of concrete beam or concrete wall
to platform for non-seismic applications.
(xi) Minimum pit depth (P) for
applications in Province of Ontario is 5'-7" (1702mm).
(xii) For front and rear applications,
the minimum floor height is 12" (305mm).
(xiii) For seismic area increase C by
3" (76mm). |
