Schindler 9300 in Public Transit

Durable and Efficient

zsch122b.jpg (41703 bytes)

In addition to the features for commercial applications, Schindler 9300 is designed to meet the complex demands of public transit authorities.

Vandal Resistance

An exceptionally tough 1/2" (12 mm) stainless steel panel gives inclined balustrades outstanding resistance vandalism.

Maximum Passenger Comfort

Extended step runs and larger transition radii are available as options to further enhance passenger transition comfort in the case of high rises.

Mechanical Reliability and Durability

Mechanical components are designed to assure high reliability of the unit, regardless of environmental conditions. In particular, the drive, the steps with continuous step axles, and the track system were carefully developed to meet the extreme demands of public transit operation.

Efficient Drives for All Rises

An efficient worm gear drive for standard application and an optional hypoid helical gear for high rises are designed to minimize power consumption.

Outdoor Applications

A full range of options allows outdoor operation in virtually any climate.

Intelligent Control

The Miconic F microprocessor controller allows escalators to be monitored and controlled from a building monitoring station, or by the 24-hour Schindler Customer Service Network via Servitel® telemonitoring.
