Reduce Passenger Wait Times
The Miconic™ A/M Modernization system is a microprocessor-based
network with improved performance over relay-based or conventional dispatching systems. A
Miconic A/M modernization improves dispatching to correct specific traffic handling
problems and assigns cars to answer calls more efficiently.
Through Real Time Management and advanced information processing,
the Miconic A/M system analyzes building traffic patterns and evaluates estimated times of
arrival (ETA) based on car position and hall car assignments for each car in a bank. The
Miconic A/M system dispatched the car with the shortest ETA, so passenger wait time is
minimal. Assignments are continuously reviewed and reassignments made when appropriate.
As building traffic demands change, new ridership strategies are
