Modernization - Page 16

Outstanding Ride Quality

A Miconic A/M modernization improves ride quality by continually regulating the key elements which affect ride comfort, acceleration and deceleration, door openings, and floor-to-floor times.

With a Miconic A/M modernization, compatibility is built in. You can retain existing peripherals such as door operators and signals, so the only change in the elevator system your tenants will notice is a more comfortable ride.

Consistently Responsive Performance

Elevators modernized with the Miconic A/M system land consistently at floor level with greater accuracy. Cars don't stop first, then adjust to floor position. Actual floor heights are stored in memory, and as your building settles, the Miconic A/M system automatically adjusts to compensate for shifts in floor levels.

You can use your existing MG set or you can upgrade your drive control to solid state DC or ACVF depending on the condition of your elevator system and the desired performance improvements.

Each car modernized with the Miconic A/M system has its own microprocessor, so any car can act as the dispatcher. This redundant dispatching capability enables another car to assume master controller responsibilities in the event the master controller is taken out of service. The result is consistently fast, responsive elevator performance.
