   Perfection-Schwank Inc.  Infra-Red Heaters

Tried and Tested

Why change something that is tried and tested?

Combustion: high efficiency, low emissions
The gas-air mixture burns in minute ducts just below the outer surface of the ceramic tile. The resultant combustion heats the ceramic and is instantly transmitted in the form of infrared heat. Because the heat exchange is so rapid, combustion is "cold". That is, heat exchange occurs so quickly that the NOx emissions remain insignificant. Schwank gas infrared radiant heaters are, therefore, exceptionally environmentally friendly.

The unbeatable solar principle
The Schwank infrared industrial heaters have simply taken their method of operati I on from the sun. The radiant heat primarily warms bodies and surfaces and not the air space in the workplace. In this way, heat is transferred with minimal losses and quickly creates a pleasantly comfortable and productive working environment.

The combustion process creates surface temperatures of 1650° F on the outer surface of the ceramic tiles. At the same time, the temperature on the inside of the tiles is only 210° F. This difference in surface temperatures on the Schwank ceramic tile, is evidence of the high insulating efficiency of the porous ceramic material.

What heating capacity should I choose? No matter whether the space to be heated is large (whole building) or small (spot heating) Schwank infrared svstems can always provide a specific solution for your heating requirements.

High heating efficiency by means of thousands of minisuns inside the ceramic tile.
