Vinyl Stack Purchasing and Availability

   

Vinyl Stack

Vinyl Stack spacers are cut to size with long horizontal spacers made for the width of your application, and short vertical spacers are the same height of the glass block being used. Vinyl Stacks unique design will self-align glass blocks to ensure uniform joints throughout the application. At times of ordering specify the size of glass block being used in the application to ensure proper size of ACTUAL cut.

*Vinyl Stack™ cuts are packaged 35 pieces per case. A $5.00 repackaging fee will be incurred on all orders in less than case quantities. The repackaging fee will be waived if Vinyl Stack™ is bought in conjunction with Vinyl Wrap® glass block frame.

Vinyl Stack Chart
(For Calculating Number of Cuts Needed)

Below is a chart showing the number of glass blocks width by height. Find your application size to determine the number of Vinyl Stack™ needed for your application. You will always use short spacers as your vertical cuts and long spacers as your horizontal cuts.

Example: A 48" x 48" panel using 8" x 8" glass block would be found under 6 blocks wide by 6 blocks tall and require 30 short pieces of Vinyl Stack and 5 longs (30 pieces of 8" cuts and 5 pieces of 48" cuts).

The formula to calculate this was as follows:

6(# of blocks in Width)-1 = 5
5 x 6(# of block in Height) = 30 Short Cuts Needed 

 

6(# of blocks in Height)-1 = 5 Long Cuts Needed


This same panel made from 6" x 6" glass block using the same formula or found on our chart under 8 blocks wide by 8 blocks tall would require 56 short and 7 long (56 pieces of 6" cuts and 7 pieces of 48" cuts).

All numbers show below are Short vertical cuts over Long horizontal cuts. Example: 30 vertical cuts, 5 horizontal cuts

Please calculate number of tubes of silicone needed by figuring one tube will yield 15 glass blocks.
