Gravity Glide™ Hinges
Our Gravity Glide™ hinges use the door's own weight to provide a positive seal between the door bottom and threshold when the door is closed. These unique hinges gently lift the door when opened. Smooth easy door operation is maintained, while positively sealing out sound transmission at the door bottom. They are available in standard cast or optional polished finish. Also, known as "Cam-lift" type hinges.

U-Frame™ Door Bottom
This revolutionary yet simple design works in conjunction with our Sound Tight™ seals and Gravity Glide™ hinges to stop sound transmission at the door bottom. There are no moving parts to wear out, break or bind. Once initially adjusted, no further maintenance is required.

Sound Tight™ Compression Seal
Seals are a vital ingredient to the effectiveness of a sound reduction door. Our Sound Tight™ seals are designed to virtually "lock out" sound. The unique design allows the door to operate smoothly, close normally and utilize standard builders hardware.

L-Frame™ Door Bottom
Similar to our U-Frame™ Bottom, the L-Frame™ offers a different aesthetic design to architects and acoustical consultants while maintaining extremely high results and performance.

Double Astragal
Pairs of acoustical doors have traditionally challenged the best of door designs. With our revolutionary double astragal seal, this problem area has finally been tamed. Now, you can expect superior acoustical performance from pairs without the space reduction and complication of mullions.

Sound Windows
Security Acoustics Quiet Vision™ Sound Windows are designed to provide superior sound reduction while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing appearance. These attractive steel framed windows are custom manufactured to meet your unique requirements. Models are available both single and double glazed. Security Acoustics will supply upon request, the laminated acoustic glass or they may be field glazed to our specifications.
