Box Groupings: Available in

Security apartment boxes are made in the new size required by the U.S. Postal Service.
Door Identification: Pressure sensitive labels are furnished for required
compartment numbering.
Mounting: Available in the following mounting patterns:
1. Fully recessed mounting requiring only 7" wall depth (R) Product Numbers.
2. Surface mounting directly on the wall (S) Product Numbers.
Accessories: Matching vertical name directory, key keeper and key storage cabinet

door.

Semi-Recessed Trim: Can be ordered per
customer request.
Construction: Doors and reinforced grid framework are made of extruded high
strength aluminum alloy. Compartments are made of high-strength steel. Concealed hinges
have steel hinge pins.
Frames: Completely factory assembled. Mitered frames screw mount to framing
members without special tools.
Finish & Color: Exterior surfaces are furnished with fine continuous striated
vertical lines to minimize effects on appearance of scratches. All aluminum surfaces have
a baked on polyester powder coating. Modules are available in silver, gold, bronze, or
clear anodized. Please see the last screen in this electronic presentation to view color
chips and specifications.
Locks: Each door has approved lock. Key for each lock is different from all other
keys in the installation and can only open the single assigned compartment lock. (Master
keying is prohibited.) The lock is a five pin cam lock providing 1000 available key
changes. Each lock comes with 2 keys.
Complete Installation Instructions: Including all Post Office regulations come with
each module. No special tools required.
INSTALLATION CAUTION:
Be sure frames are installed absolutely square.
A. |
Receptacles
and voluntary parcel lockers in apartment houses should be located at points reasonably
near the entrance in vestibules, halls, or lobbies. The carriers must be able to serve the
boxes without interference from swinging or opening doors. The area must be adequately
lighted so as to afford the best protection to the mail and enable carriers to read
addresses on mail and names on boxes without undue strain on their eyes. |

Installation
of standard, approved apartment receptacles in exterior walls of buildings may be
authorized provided they are not installed directly on the street or public sidewalk.
Wherever possible, at least 15 feet should be clearly visible from one or more apartment
windows. A canopy must be provided, designed and located to afford maximum protection from
the weather, including driving rains. In addition, adequate night lighting must be
installed. |

In
vehicle-type installations: |

1. |
Receptacles must be placed
so that the center of the barrel of the master lock of the upper tier will be no more than
58 inches from the floor. The center of the barrel of the master lock of the lower tier of
letter boxes will be no less than 30 inches from the floor. |

2. |
No more than two tiers may
be installed. Boxes must be arranged in groups. The maximum number of boxes in each group,
installed under one Arrow lock, is seven. Where the number of apartments is less than
seven or where telephone units are installed with the boxes, less than seven may be
grouped, but never less than three. |
