The Savoir Faire Line

Remote Transformer
1.) In some cases the transformer can be placed in a remote area, for example in a suspended ceiling or in an attic location. Access to the transformer must be assured.

The example shown here shows the transformer housing of the 150 watt electronic transformer. The 200 and 300 watt magnetic transformer can also be mounted in this manner.

The secondary wiring from the conductor (
CON...) and the suspension elements (SUSELE...) are placed securely in junction boxes.

When placing an order, please specify the preferred transformer mounting option.

2.) This option makes use of an existing j-box area. The THC150 (150 watt electronic transformer with housing) is mounted into a j-box area or replaces an existing j-box. Access to the transformer from the front is assured. The T-conductor element (TCON...) plugs directly into the transformer to provide a clean solution.
