The landscape section includes fixture types such as Garden Lights,
Bollards and Pole Mounts. This group of fixtures is ground mounted, as distinguished from
the Exterior Wall Mounted section. All are made of non-ferrous metals, bronze, copper and
aluminum.
FINISHES
Bronze fixtures come with a natural bronze finish. Aluminum fixtures are
finished with an acrylic polyurethane paint suitable for marine environments. See the User
Guide for the Wall Mounted Exterior fixtures for more information on painted and metal
finishes.
MOUNTING
The fixtures in this section have a variety of mounting methods, as illustrated below. All
are designed with the installer in mind. Templates and anchor bolts are furnished prior to
the shipment of the fixtures.

BASE PLATE MOUNTING
Anchor bolts are set in concrete prior to the installation of the
fixture. A cover plate provides a finished appearance. A template and anchor bolts can be
supplied during rough-in. |
DIRECT BURIAL
The fixture is set in concrete provided by others. Care must be
taken with the finish. Overall cost is lower than base plate mounting. |

BASE COLLAR
MOUNTING
A variation of base plate mounting, it is quicker and
less expensive. |
MODIFICATIONS
With our resource of skilled craftspeople we offer the designer the flexibility to tailor
our standard fixtures to meet special design criteria. Many application photos throughout
the catalog show modified fixtures which are denoted by an M in
front of the catalog number. Call your Rep or the factory to discuss the unique
requirements of your project.
LAMPING
Incandescent and fluorescent lamping options are offered for all the fixtures in this
section. Some models are available with HID lamping as well. Advanced lamp and ballast
technology now makes compact fluorescent (CF) lamps a viable source for exterior fixtures
whether for residential or commercial use. All our fixtures specified with CF lamping for
exterior use are supplied with electronic ballasts. These ballasts are rated to -12° F
(-25° C), meeting performance requirements for all but the coldest climates. For further
information on ballasts, see Section G.
