| A Company that protects. Name any building that contains valuables.
Hospitals, banks, shopping malls. Concert
halls, museums, sports arenas, airport terminals. Restaurants, schools, hotels. Factories
and condos.
Name any valuable.
People, information, property, time. To our
customers, those are all priceless. That's why companies of every size come to us.
We design, maufacture and service systems
for all of them (small, medium, large and mega).
To detect fire before it spreads. To keep
entrances safe from intruders.
To announce information in real-time. To
alert. To record. To communicate.
And to keep track of just about everything.

If you had 86,000 employees and were
responsible for 2,200 fights a day, you'd worry about security, right? Most companies
would. Instead of worrying, United Airlines decided to get the best security system
available on the planet for its world headquarters just outside of Chicago. (Five
buildings, a training center and high-rise hotel.) And recently, we were pleased to
install the Simplex NT 3400 Security Management Information System. It includes access
control. Video badging. CCTV. Graphical maps. Emergency intercom. Wireless emergency call
boxes in the parking lot. Monitors for the fire alarm and perimeter doors. Complex?
Definitely. Complicated? Well, let's put it this way. Soon, permanent employees will be
able to get past any turnstile and into any building with a single access card. To be
really secure, you see, a system has to make it hard on the bad guys. And easy on everyone
else. |
