SPECIFICATION
Precast concrete treads, landings and balconies shown on the plans shall be from the STEPTREAD system for wood frame construction by STEPSTONE, INC. of Gardena, CA. The manufacturer is to supply all precast concrete parts with each STEPTREAD end featuring either a recessed pocket to accept the hidden support angle or a bottom weld plate. The manufacturer will also supply angles, bolts, lags and washers necessary for tread attachment to wood stringers. All reinforcing and connections will be zinc plated (except for weld on treads, produced at our Phoenix plant.).
