A. ) Substrate Inspection
1. Substrate should be clean and dry
of moisture
2. Minimum and maximum application
in 1.02 should be met.
3.02 Substrate preparation
A.) Stucco, Concrete, Masonry
1. Concrete shall be cured a
minimum of 28 days prior to
application.
2. Clean all surfaces of dust, dirt,
efflorescence and other material which
may interfere with bonding of the finish.
3. Fill voids and rough surfaces to
provide a smooth surface.
B.) EIFS - Follow manufacturers
recommendations and apply only over fully dried
base cost five of trowel marks and imperfections.
C.) Interior Surfaces
1. Drywall shall be taped and nails
spotted.
2. Interior plaster "I be smooth finished
3. Concrete shall be prepared as in
3.02A
D.) Wood surfaces shall be dry, clean and free of
voids. Tape plywood seams with fiberglass tape
and provide silicone caulking in seams larger than
3/16".
E.) All surfaces must be primed with Stonecoat
Primer.
