subz10e.jpg (5451 bytes) Think of a refrigerator/freezer as a duplex. The residents of one apartment like the moist 38° air. The residents of the other like dry, 0° air. But if they have to share a cooling system, both are going to be uncomfortable. And neither is ever going to get exactly what they want.

Enter the exclusive Sub-Zero dual refrigeration system. It keeps fresh food fresher and preserves frozen food longer because it has two separate, self-contained cooling systems.

On the fresh side, our evaporator coil is set to maintain higher humidity than that of ordinary refrigerators. Our system circulates the cool, moist air efficiently to ensure uniform temperature throughout the fresh food compartment. And an independent control maintains the temperature you set, then confirms it with a digital readout that's accurate to plus or minus one degree.

The fresh food never has to suffer the insult of extremely dry freezer air.

On the frozen side, a separate system produces properly dry air that prevents excessive freeze/defrost cycling, to keep frozen foods good longer. Another independent control maintains the temperature you set, then confirms it with a separate digital readout accurate to plus or minus one degree.

The ice and frozen food never have to suffer the insult of odors picked up from the fresh food side.

The dual refrigeration system is simple. It's energy efficient. It keeps food better and longer. And it's available only from Sub-Zero.
