| Product Description Series 100 Regular:
A clear, penetrating water repellent sealer for internal and external protection. Series
100 contains PLAZTEX, a hydrocarbon plasticizer which is water white, non-gloss, stain and
oxidation resistant.
May be used for concrete, cement plaster, painted
surfaces, natural stone panels, brick, wood and other nonporous surfaces.
Solids content is 8% minimum of sealer material.
Series 200, Heavy Duty
Clear: Heavy Duty is specially formulated for a more porous surface.
Upon drying, the surface is enriched and slightly darkened with a low sheen.
Recommended over normal weight block systems, slump stone,
split face block, cinder block, adobe block, lightweight concrete, and exposed aggregate
systems. Two (2) coat water repellent system which requires a 24-hour curing period under
ideal weather conditions prior to second coat application. Solids content is 20% minimum
of sealer material.
Series 400
Semi-transparent; and Series 500, Opaque Stains: A solvent based
resin system which penetrates into the masonry surface for water repellency, aesthetic
staining, greater depth of color and allows moisture vapor to escape from the surface.
Recommended for concrete systems, cement stucco, natural
stone, architectural concrete, bush-hammered concrete, exposed aggregate systems, brick
and normal weight concrete block.
Allow 24-hour curing between coats when roller applied.
Solids content is 25% minimum of sealer material.
Series 600 and Series
1500 Slloxane Clear Sealers: A one component penetrating sealer. This
product reacts chemically with the substrate to form a repellency to salt and water while
still allowing the substrate to remain permeable to water vapor.
Series 1500 meets NCHRP-244 Test Method Requirements for
concrete deck sealers. Request more detailed technical data from manufacturer.
Solids content for Series 600 is 6% siloxane. For Series
1500, it is 15% siloxane.
Series 140 and Series 120Sllane
Clear Sealers:
RAINSTOPPER®
Silane is a chemical treatment which causes concrete, masonry, limestone
or wood to become repellent to salt and water. It is available in two grades for concrete,
masonry, limestone and one grade for wood.
RAINSTOPPER®
Silane has an excellent performance record. Testing has proven that it is
superior to digomeric poly siloxanes, stéarates, siliconates, silicates, urethanes,
butadienes, chlorinated rubber, epoxies, and oils.
RAINSTOPPER® 140
- Our premium grade silane weatherproofing product contains 40% Alkyltrialkoxy
Silane in Mineral Spirits. It is used to protect and maintain bridges, parking garages,
airport pavements, industrial plants, buildings and other concrete and masonry structures
in the most severe environments. RAINSTOPPER®
140 penetrates up to 1/2 inch with each application.
RAINSTOPPER® 120-Our
high grade silane water repellent product contains 20% Alkyltrialkoxy Silane in Mineral
Spirits. It is used to protect and maintain bridges, buildings, parking garages,
pavements, plants, and other brick and concrete structures in the most severe
environments. RAINSTOPPER® 120
penetrates up to 1/4 inch with each application.
RAINSTOPPER®
Siloxane and Silane Sealers protect and preserve the substrate without
altering the surface texture or appearance. Substrates which can be treated include
limestone aggregates, gravel, concrete, stone, wood, brick, masonry, flagstone, paper,
sandstone, limestone, marble, stucco, precast concrete, architectural concrete and
synthetic stone.
After being chemically treated, these substances become
highly resistant to staining, spalling, weathering, efflorescence, water intrusion, salt
intrusion, fungi and mildews, deterioration, freeze thaw scaling and reinforcing steel
corrosion.
Coverage Rates
The following figures are estimated coverage rates and may
vary according to the porosity of surface and surface conditions. Only complete and full
saturation with the sealer material will satisfy the surface porosity of the substrate
being treated.
