| Easy two step application process
Step One: Base Coat
Properly prepare the substrate, using the appropriate
primer, as recommended in Strata-Grip specifications. Spray or roll down the Strata-Grip
Base Coat at approximately 60 to 80 sq. ft. per gal. depending on porosity (Approximately
12-15 mils dry film). While the coating is wet, either leave as is to create the desired
splatter or sand texture, or knock-down with a trowel (lace finish) or bark roller (bark
texture).
Step Two: Top Coat
After 24 hours of curing (under ideal conditions) it is
recommended to apply Strata-Grip Top Coat at 200 to 250 sq. ft. per gal., to achieve a
uniform pinhole-free finish.

Unaffected by weather
Strata-Grip's deck coating system provides excellent
resistance to muriatic acid, alkali, water and ultraviolet light. Because of the thermo
plastic properties in Strata-Grip, it accommodates dimensional changes of many types of
substrates and weather conditions.
