We've designed our Smart faucets to work
brilliantly.
Public restrooms are notorious for faucets that are left on
to flow continually and messy sinks and floors. This is due, in part, to the fact that
people forget to turn the water off. Or they don't like turning the water off with freshly
washed hands.
Clean savings on water costs.
This is where our sensor faucets really shine. They contain
an ingenious Smart Sensor system with an infrared sensor that detects when hands are
placed underneath the spout and automatically releases water from the faucet. The sensor
also detects when hands are removed and immediately shuts the wateroff.
The result is a cleaner restroom and a savings on water
costs.
No more scalding.
Our smart faucets also know how to make the water just the
right temperature. The Anti-Scald Thermal Mixing Chamber mixes the hot and cold water. No
other manufacturer's system currently uses this safety feature. It's yet another first
from TOTO.A Shape Memory Alloy spring provides true thermal mixing. So not only do people
enjoy water at a comfortable, consistent temperature without having to fuss to get it that
way.
The best kind of maintenance is a no maintenance
TOTO's Easy Access Screen can be cleaned without removing
the entire faucet or control box, which you have to do with other systems. Also, there are
no rubber washers that require frequent replacement. In other words, we've eliminated
extra work. Even installation is less work because our self adjusting Smart Sensor
eliminates the need for field adjustment. It's smart enough to set its own detection
range, a feature that also reduces vandalism.

that easy access to the water supply screens for quick and easy occasional cleanings.
Reduced splash.
Another unique TOTO feature is our reduced
splash design. We've combined a cascading waterfall flow with a laminar
flow. Water is projected further out toward the center of the basin. So
people don't have to come in contact with the basin, rim, or the faucet.
Splashing is greatly reduced.
Also, a self-adjusting flow-restrictor provides a steady
flow over a 20 psi to 80 psi inlet pressure variance, so your customer won't get sprayed
if water pressure changes in the facility.
AC or battery powered.
Our sensor faucets are available with battery and AC power
options for retrofit or new construction installations. AC powered faucets ar used mostly
for new construction where the proper wiring can easily be designed into the overall
restroom plan.
Our battery powered and AC powered faucets
are available in two designs. The high faucet has a gooseneck spout the
meets ADA and hospital codes. Our standard faucet has a lower profile
for standard installations.
TOTO's automatic sensor valves are
designed to respond instantly to the sensor beam, generating considerable water savings
over conventional faucets.
