Design overcomes low water pressure to deliver
strong flushings.
TOTO's piston valve technology gives our valves a
consistent strong flushing action even at low water pressure. This means that the tenant
on the 50th floor of a high rise building will experience the same high performance as the
tenant on the first floor.
The piston valve advantage.
Every TOTO valve, manual operated as well as
sensor-operated, takes advantage of our carefully researched and designed piston flush
valve. It has a sturdy brass body with just one moving part - a self cleaning piston - to
provide durability and reliability. It also can be ordered with an angle stop with
tailpiece, outlet tube with vacuum breaker, wall flange, and fixture spud nut escutcheon.
The heart of the flush valve is a piston which has a
self-cleaning, stainless steel screen that filters debris and prevents clogging. It also
features a positive seal that provides sure, consistent closing.
In contrast, rubber diaphragm flush valve systems made by
many other manufacturers can often warp or clog, making toilets and urinals run
continuously or overflow, causing water damage.
Diaphragms also need replacement and maintenance, which
makes our maintenance-free piston flush valves even more attractive.

the advanced TOTO piston flush valve system. TOTO's manual urinal valve
comes in a 1.0 Gpf model and the toilet valve is available in both 1.6
Gpf and 3.5 Gpf models. And whether you upgrade to TOTO or are fortunate
enough to buy TOTO in the first place, you won't have to worry about vandals.
