Toto Commercial Toilets & Urinals - Page 12

Sensor Flush Valves

For instance, at a movie theater the amount of restroom usage varies greatly. When the urinal is used briefly by one or two people, more water is used for each flush. When many people use the same urinal in a short period of time, less water is released for each flush, and a complete, full flush occurs after every five uses.

For low consumption 1.6 Gpf toilets with Smart Flush Valve technology, TOTO's dual flushing system ensures water conservation. The amount of water used per flush varies according to the duration of use as determined by the sensor. After a brief use, less water is flushed to discharge liquid waste. After longer usage, more water is flushed to discharge both liquid and solid waste.

The Automatic Advantage

New construction projects frequently take advantage of our AC powered flush valves. They utilize a 24 VAC power source to provide maintenance free usage.

You can choose from several styles and finishes. A 4" x 4" cover plate can be either flush mounted or surface mounted and is available in a satin finish or an off-white finish. A 14" x 12" cover plate is also available for installations without a pipe chase.

Another option is the exposed sensor flush valve available with a satin finish.

Of course, every option comes with TOTO's standard feature - TOTO's high performance testing standards.

What is Fuzzy Logic?

It's a logical way of saving water. The amount of water released during flushes varies according to frequency and duration of use.
