Note: Be certain to provide shutoff (gate) valves in the evaporator inlet and outlet piping to facilitate water temperature sensor removal.
High pressures resulting from rising water temperatures (due to ambient conditions) may cause internal damage to the evaporator.

Shutoff valves should not be closed with cold water in the chiller.
