Features and Benefits

Ideal for Retrofit, Renovation and Replacement
Change is inevitable. As time passes, building loads alter, new technologies emerge and codes and standards are revised.
The Modular Climate Changers
"building-block" design (with its modular
components, bolted construction and removable panels)
readily lends itself to the special needs of the renovation, retrofit and replacement
market. To integrate new features, simply separate the
existing modules and add, enhance or replace components.
Sturdy Unit Construction
Key to the Modular Climate Changer air handlers flexibility is the structural integrity afforded by its G90 galvanized-steel,
post-and-panel construction. That not only means you
can stack modules in a space-saving vertical air-handler configuration, but also
allows removal of all panels for virtually unlimited
access. Also available are these casing-related features and options:
- fiberglass insulation in densities of ¾, 1 1 /2 and 3 lb/sq ft
- solid or perforated double-wall interior panels
- hinged, double-wall, removable doors with two-position handles
- low-leak dampers
- marine lights
- external support kit for ceiling suspension or external isolation
- gasketed panels

Flexible fan options.

Full-size access modules and
standard double-wall doors.
Choice of Fans
An extensive array of fan types and options, including inlet guide vanes and
variable frequency drives for modulation in variable
air volume systems, further enhances Modular Climate Changer flexibility. Now you can choose the fan that best satisfies each
jobs supply and exhaust or return fan needs:
double-width/double-inlet (DWDI) centrifugal fans in forward-curved (FC), backward-inclined (BI) or airfoil (AF) configurations
single-width/single-inlet (SWSI) plug
fans
airfoil vaneaxial fans (Model Q fan)
Each fan is rated in accordance with ARI Standard 430 and to assure cataloged
performance, all DWDI fans are Standard 430 certified.
