| Options Rack For Hot Water Or Steam Coil
The rack for the hot water or steam coil is installed at the factory and mounted on the entering air side of the unit.
The rack will include the coil, piping, valve, and
controls wired to the unit control panel.
The coils are available in either "full height" or "reduced height" sizes. The rack will include an air distribution
baffel to assure relatively even air distribution
across the face of the coil. The coil inlet and outlet
connections are located on the same side as the condenser water connections.
The upstream side of the coil rack incorporates a filter rack for a flat bank of 2 inch thick filters. Access for filter
changeout is from the left side. The quantity and size
of filters is the same as for unit mounted filters.
Hot Water Heating Coils
Standard Trane coils will be installed in the heating coil rack. Only one row versions of coil types TT, WC are acceptable.
The Trane Coil Selection Program or Trane Heating Coil Catalog should be used to select the proper coil for your
application. Air temperature directly off the coil
(not mixed air temperature in the case of the reduced height coil) must not
exceed 104 degrees F.
Steam Heating Coils
Standard Trane coils will be installed in the heating coil rack. Only one row versions of coil type NS are acceptable.
The Trane Coil Selection Program or Trane Heating Coil Catalog should be used to select the proper coil for your
application.
Air temperature directly off the coil (not mixed air temperature in the case
of the reduced height coil) must not exceed 104 degrees
F .
Mechanical Specifications
