2000 and Series 3000 Pneumatic Volume Regulators |

Analog Electronic Controls
Proven Pneumatic Controls
- Pressure Dependent Available as actuator only or with optional minimum and/or maximum position limiters.
- Pressure Independent Pneumatic volume regulator controls unit airflow regardless of changes in inlet static pressure.
Factory set, field adjustable minimum and maximum cfm
settings are standard.
- Two different pneumatic volume regulators allow the customers to choose their
level of cost and quality.
- All units utilize the patented Trane flow ring.
A Full Line of Electronic Controls
Pressure independent and dependent electronic controls are available on the entire VariTrane® product line. Each controller
features a Trane designed, solid-state circuit board to
provide accurate room temperature control.
Electronic control capabilities include:
- Pressure Dependent Operation Room temperature is maintained by integrated
circuitry employing a closed loop, position feedback
system. Adjustable minimum and maximum position settings are standard.
- Pressure Independent Operation Pressure independent controls provide the airflow required by the room thermostat to
maintain comfort. They automatically adjust the
position of the air valve to compensate for changes in
duct system pressure. Factory set, field adjustable minimum and maximum cfm
setpoint capability is standard.
- Ability to perform the following system control related operations from a remotely
initiated signal: drive air valve to maximum airflow
setting; drive air valve closed; change to alternate
minimum airflow setting; change to alternate zone temperature setpoint; lockout
unit heat; cooling/heating changeover after hours
tenant tracking when used with a Tracer® building management system.
- The patented Trane flow ring is a standard feature on all electronically controlled
units.
