Translite Light Channel
| The Channel |
| Light Channel is made
of extruded aluminum. The top of the channel is a perforated metal (hole size is
3/16" (5mm) diameter) which provides a decorative screen when viewed from above as
well as proper ventilation. The bottom of the track is laser cut to accommodate the
specified light source. 
Feeding Power
Ballasts and transformers are prewired and housed within the channel. Line voltage
Power is fed to the lighting fixtures by standard black curly cord. Cord issupplied in
four foot (1.2m) lengths (compressed) which can be field cut. The cord stretches up to
200%. Custom lengths are available.
Suspension
The suspension system is extremely simple. 1/8"
(3mm) aircraft cable is easily field cuttable. Levelling the channel is easy with our self
locking cable grips. Light Channel needs only two supports per 12 foot (3.7m) length.
