Safety Through Technology

The PS5 is a 150 watt or 300 watt electronic transformer intended for only very short runs of cable or rail . The last lamp on the run should not be more than eight feet (2.5m) from the transformer. PS7 is a plug-in 60 watt electronic transformer with an integral switch and dimmer intended for individual fixtures.

Features

Decorative Housing - The PS5 has a clean, simple canopy housing. The housing is available in a variety of anodized, painted, or plated finishes.

Overload Protection - Both the PS5 and PS7 have integrated short circuit and overload protection to guard against fault conditions on the low voltage output.

Easy Reset - An important feature of the power supplies is that they are simply reset by turning the wall switch or dimmer off and then on again. In the event of a system shutdown, there is no need to reset a breaker, or to replace a fuse.

UL Listed - Translite's PS5 and PS7 Power Supplies are UL listed.

Dimmable - The PS5 is fully dimmable. Any line voltage dimmer may be used with the PS5. The PS7 includes its own integral slide dimmer.

Direct Feed - Power Feed Cable may be fed through holes in the PS5 housing.

Wiring - The PS5 is designed to be hardwired over a standard junction box. The PS7 includes a 6' (2m) cord and plug on the primary side and a 10 (3m) cord on the secondary side.
