PS8 P

Translite uses a 60 watt plug-in electronic transformer for use primarily with exhibit and display fixtures. This may be ordered with a thumb switch for installation on the secondary output. Each PS8P comes with a standard 10 foot (3m) cord.

Transformers for Monopoints

Translite offers monopoints with canopies for either remote or integral transformers. For integral transformers we now offer both electronic and magnetic versions. The electronic ones have integral short circuit protection. The toroidal transformers that we supply are protected on the secondary side by a polyswitch resettable fuse that automatically resets when the fault is removed, the current switched off and then restarted. All canopies are 4-1/2" (114mm) in diameter.

If toroidal transformers are required specify monopoints with MPTT as a system code. Otherwise an electronic transformer will be supplied by default.

Translite supplies a complete range of Lightech electronic AC transformers in wattages of 75, 150, and 300 (both round and rectangular). These transformers are typically used with fixtures, rather than systems.
