began to develop a customized group of integrated software modules to use in theday to day
operation of it's business. We found that it was better to write software to help us
manage our business the way we felt it should be managed. Off the shelf programs lacked
integration and flexibility between all the various departments like production,
accounting, contact database, etc. So, it didn't take us long to figure out the best
approach to operating our business would be to write the software ourself.
As a result TRIATEK has developed integrated business
management and operation programs that help us manage our company efficiently. If you are
a current customer you most likely have noticed that we can access information very
rapidly to process orders, provide quotes, fax literature and check shipments. We have
integrated and automated almost all aspects of our company.

TRIATEK has developed one of the most extensive integrated
customer contact information programs. We can enter orders, provide quotes, send faxes,
check shipping history, order a literature label, enter a date to call you back, and
access customer notes from any terminal on the system. Plus many other features! This
means we can service you quicker and more efficiently at a lower cost.
To KEEP OUR COSTS DOWN
Every production worker logs on to a particular run for
each product that is built by TRIATEK. Each task required to build each product is
monitored to keep our costs in line and determine areas where we can cut production costs.
This means more efficient production which results in lower cost products to our
customers. Alt of this production information is integrated with other program modules to
determine cost of labor for each product we manufacture.
To KEEP PRODUCTS IN STOCK Each product is built from
a bill of materials. Each bill of material lists all the components required to build the
product. Each time a run of products is built these components are automatically removed
from inventory. Each component has a re-order quantity along with a lead time so if the
components drop below the re-order quantity a purchase request is automatically sent to
the purchasing department for re-ordering before the production personnel know the parts
are low. This means faster deliveries to you because we almost always have ample
inventories to build your products.
To PROVIDE PRODUCT INFORMATION Information on each
ofTRIATEK's products is maintained in a database file. Histories, on hand quantities,
quantities in process, pricing, descriptions and a multitude of information is kept on
each product. This information is integrated with the production and purchasing programs
to keep current material and labor costs accurate.
