TRIATEK's CC-980 Tri-State input to Analog Output Transducer is a unique microprocessor controlled interface which accepts an increment/decrement control signal from a controller and provides a lines' current or voltage output. Conventional methods require an analog output from a controller usually current or voltage) to accomplish proportional control. TRIATEK's Tri-State input to Analog 0utput Transducer provides proportional control from digital outputs rather than expensive analog outputs. A unique benefit of this field configurable unit is the ramp up/down speeds which allow it to be tuned to each specific applica- tion. The ramp speed options are field selectable from 15 to 240 seconds. This unit also provides an optional emergency stop feature which, when activated, immediately causes the unit to go to minimum output. The unit can be ordered for 24 VDC or 24/120 VAC supply power. The 24/120 VAC model provides an isolation transformer on board so multiple units can be powered by the same AC source. This will elimi- nate ground loop potential from the power supply. The increment / decrement Input is isolated and can accept a variety of voltages from the controller. An optional dry contact is also available. LEDs on the unit indicate if power is present, increment/decrement input status, and if the analog output s at the tower or higher end of its scale. This provides the technician with some local reference checks to determine if the unit is functioning property.
