LEFT: Assembly jig for Tri-Chord floor trusses. Press-joining technology has allowed Tri-Chord to automate truss assembly so as to match the efficiencies of high volume wood fabricators. In fact,  man hours per truss are significantly better than those attainable with wood.

RIGHT: Close-up of the press-joining process. The joints are not only strong and consistent, but are impervious to squeaks, a major problem with screw connections.
