Starting
Newel (Without Fitting)
This
is the most conventional method of starting a stairway. It makes the rail uncomplicated
and easy to install.
Up-Easing
(With Gooseneck Newel)
7012, 7212, 7412
This combination makes for a smoother transition for the
stair user and a more dramatic stair starting.
Intermediate
Landing Newel (Without Fitting)
These
long face newels are used to transition between two different levels of rail without the
use of a special fitting.
Straight
2-Riser Gooseneck (With Landing Gooseneck Newel)
7099,
7299, 7499
2-riser goosenecks are used with these short face newels to transition between a lower
angled rail and/or 42" balcony, or when a landing is replaced with two steps.
2nd-Floor
Landing Newel (Without Fitting)
These
newels can provide a solid transition between the raked stair rail and the level landing
rail without the need for an additional fitting.
Straight 1-Riser Gooseneck (With Landing
Gooseneck Newel)
7098,
7298
Used in combination with a 1-riser gooseneck, these newels can provide a smooth transition
between the raked stair rail and the level landing rail.
Half
Newel
Any
style of newel may be split to be used against a wall to secure the ends of angled or
level rails. |
