PRODUCT FEATURES

Designed to work with standard concrete block walls or concrete bond beam or tie beam construction.
Eliminates need to construct special seats for joists or ledger beam.
7 gauge, 3 gauge and 12 gauge steel painted after fabrication.
Eliminates need for Web Stiffener.
Steel joists may be installed with web on either side of hanger.

INSTALLATION

Use two 16d duplex nails into concrete block grout and four #10 screws into joist.

PRODUCT FEATURES

This engineered connector has been designed to connect roof rafters to ridge beams and to handle most sloped and skewed applications in the roof while eliminating the need for a custom product.
The ARC is fully field adjustable, and handles any rafter pitch from 3:12 up to 14:12 down, and any skew from 75° left to 75° right or any combination of these variables.
A strap tie should be used over the ridge beam for all slopes greater than 3:12 down.

INSTALLATION

The rafter is nestled into the seat and only one face of the ARC is attached to the rafter by #10 screws, in addition to the seat.
The second face of the ARC is attached to the ridge beam with #10 screws.
The rafter is rotated to the desired skew angle, and the installation is complete.
Install the ARC on a plumb cut of the rafter.
The ARC may skewed either left or right.
