VANDE HEY-RALEIGH Heating and cooling costs are affected by a Vande Hey-Raleigh roof. Unlike many other roofing products, our tile is not fastened directly to the roof deck. The air space between the roof sheathing and the tile prevents direct heat transmission, keeping buildings cooler in summer and warmer in winter. ROOF VENTILATION PRODUCTS Vande Hey-Raleigh G5 or G5G tile vents (same dimensions, color and style to match the field tile) evenly positioned near the ridge provide the required ventilation. Air is drawn in through the soffit vents and is exhausted through the tile vents. The high profile G20/45 vents are used for soil pipe and high efficiency furnace venting. (Color brochure and installation manual available upon request.) Ridge venting, hip venting, headwall venting or power vents can be installed as an option to standard tile vents.
