Lamps

Venture's^® system innovation has truly redefined metal halide performance. The exclusive Uni-Form^® formed body arc tube is a compact light source sculpted to follow the physical shape of the arc itself. The precise geometry of this unique arc tube, accurately reproducible from lamp to lamp, produces greater efficiency, improved color uniformity, longer life, and faster warm-up/restrike time than the older, standard pinch body technology.

Ballasts

Venture^® has designed new, high-efficiency ballasts for our Uni-Form^® pulse start systems. The high voltage ignitor used in these ballasts combines with their reduced current crest factor to offer longer life, higher lumen output, quicker starting and greater energy effieciency.

Controls

The company's metal halide line includes quality, reliable controls as well as innovations like universal wattage quartz restrike controls are designed to respond to changing conditions while supplying auxiliary lighting and eliminating lengthy restrike periods.

The System

Venture^® combined the superior Uni-Form^® formed body arc tube lamps with new lower current crest factor ballasts using ignitor starting to develop the Uni-Form^® pulse start systems. Lamp and component compatibility is assured because the lamps, ballasts and controls are designed together for performance never before achieved.

Venture Lighting^® now offers the largest selection of Uni-form pulse start lamps, ballasts and controls in the industry. Lamps are available in wattages from 50 through 450 watt in open or enclosed styles; clear or coated versions; 27K, 3K and 4K color temperatures; color Rendering Index (CRI) options of 65-75. Coupled with Venture's^® ignitor CWA, high reactance, or 277 volt controlled current reactor ballasts, the long-life Uni-Form^® pulse start lamps demonstrate excellent lamp to lamp color consistency.

Warranty

Venture^® is backing up the Uni-Form^® pulse start systems with the only metal halide system warranty in the industry, the Uni-Form^® "One Call" warranty.
