These lamps are desinged for new and retrofit applications in environments where energy consumption is a key concern. They can replace 250 watt standard pinch body lamps and fit in a much smaller fixture using the medium base version of the 200 watt lamp. This lamp also can replace the standard 175 watt lamp in either a medium or mogul base and provides a substantial benefit in increased light output. Additional benefits are 50% longer lamp life and 50 to 75 watts saved.
