The 350 watt Uni-Form^® pulse start lamp provides higher maintained lumen output than the  400 watt position-oriented (base up and base down) lamp. It was designed to replace the 400 watt universal or position-oriented lamps in any application. Combined with the 277 volt controlled current reactor ballasts, the lamp saves approximately 80 watts per fixture or $128.00 over the 20,000 hour lamp life (assuming $0.08 /kWH energy cost). Color temperatures of 3K and 4K are offered, and both open and enclosed fixture rated designs are available.
