LAMPS
Venture's® metal halide
innovations have repeatedly led the industry.
We were the first to introduce:
- Low wattage metal halide lamps
- Reduced size metal halide lamps
- Colored lighting using the metal halide mix in the arc tube,
rather than gels, under the Designer Color™ name
- Open Fixture Rated Lamps- using an internal shroud
- Reduced UV-output lamps, under the UV Shield™ name
- A totally new arc tube designed to follow the shape of the
plasma arc itself for greater efficiency, resulting in the Uni-form® Pulse
Start family.
Ballasts
Venture's® entry into the ballast market allows
us to offer a broad product line and develop new designs tuned for use with our Uni-Form®
Pulse Start lamps. Our Ballastronix group traces its origins back to 1930 and the
company founded by Joseph G. Sola. Ballastronix is one of the largest producers of HID
ballasts in North America. From Europe, our Parry Power System group services growing
world markets. We bring over 100 years of expertise to the development of new ballast
systems.
Controls
Our Current Industries controls group has been the
recognized leader in OEM supplied auxiliary lamp restrike devices for over 30 years. Now
sold under the Venture® brand, innovations like universal quartz restrike
controls, 2-Level metal halide systems and new electronic devices broaden our offering
while continuing to build on a strong reputation of quality and reliability. |
