Snow Guard Chart

How to use this chart:

1. Find the roof type you are working with along the top row.
2. Find the 'X' or 'X's in the column below the roof type.
3. Follow the row that the 'X' is in to the left hand side of the chart.
4. The resulting number is the snow guard model number that works with this roof type.
5. The numbers at the top of the list are for pad style snow guards.
6. Numbers at the bottom are for pipe style snow guards.
7. There is always at least one pad and one pipe style for any roof type.

Alpine SnowGuards will recommend bracket spacing and layout patters based upon the information  you provide. However, weather conditions and roof construction vary from project to project. The owner or architect must carefully consider factors such as  anticipated snow load, roof slope and orientation, roof construction and the area to be protected, in deciding whether the use Alpine SnowGuards Products would be appropriate.
