ALPINE SNOWGUARDS

A Division of Vermont Slate & Copper Services, Inc.

Pipe Style Snowguards

Alpine SnowGuards has developed a pipe style snowguard for all roof types. Each bracket has been specifically designed to work with the different types of roofing materials. Our brackets in no way compromise the roofs integrity including our patented membrane roofing snowguard bracket. Pipe couplings and end plugs are easily installed. Ice flags, pictured at left, can help prevent snow and ice from sliding under the bottom pipe.

Alpine SnowGuards presents our latest snow guard design. This new design has all the benefits of our original snow guard system with a few improvements. First, the bottom pipe is closer to the roof deck which prevents snow and ice from sliding under the pipe and eliminates the need and cost of using ice flags. Second, prices for the new design can be up to 20% less than the price for the old snowguard for the same application.

Alpine SnowGuards introduces its "traditional" style adjustable pipe style bracket. This is the type of bracket historically used on slate roofs. The bracket is available in aluminum with a stainless steel base plate or all brass. The base plate is custom manufactured to match the size of the shingle being used and replaces a shingle. The #225 (pictured at left) can be used with slate, flat tile, wood shingles and composition shingles. Tubing, couplings, end plugs and end collars are available to complete the system.
