Installation Instructions for #70 Snow Guards

1. The wire loop snow guard must be installed in every or every other joint in the slate, over the entire
   roof surface. Quantity depends on the roof slope and snow load.
2. The spike of the wire loop snow guard is nailed directly into the roof deck abocve the head of the second course of slate and in-between the joint of the third course of slate.
3. The snow guard should not be hooked over the top of the slate or hooked around a nail.
4. Repeat these steps for the entire roof layout over the entire surface.
