Vitricolor EVOC is a low, odor polychromatic coating
consisting of polymers containing colored particles suspended in an environmentally
friendly aqueous medium. Vitricolor EVOC is sprayed by a conventional sprayer at
high volume low pressure.
USES:
Vitricolor EVOC can be used on interior or exterior
architectural surfaces. It is a seamless coating with superior durability and esthetic as
conventional vinyl wallpaper.
ADVANTAGES:
VOC Compliant in California
Seamless
Durable
Aesthetically Exciting
Available in matte and glossy options
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Standard procedures normal to the painting professions for using
conventional paint products should be followed. Vitricoat Primer should be used on
exterior masonry surfaces. When coating over a different existing coating use Vitricoat
Primer and Vitricolor instead of two coats of Vitricolor.
Exterior chalking surfaces should be sandblasted. Clean all interior
glossy surfaces with a detergent to remove dirt, grease, and debris. Bare metal must be
primed with Polyseal ZC Primer, a rust inhibiting primer. Bare wood must be primed
with an oil type wood primer or enamel undercoater. On drywall; use Vitricoat Primer
to eliminate telegraphing of joints. On masonry block walls use Vitricoat Primer to
fill pores and voids.
APPLICATION:
The substrate must be clean and free of contaminants. Vitricolor
EVOC can be sprayed with a Binks 2001 with cup at incoming pressure of 10-15 psi, pot
pressures of 3-5 psi. The tip at the nozzle can be a 66 SD type.
Always run water through the spray equipment prior to the
application of Vitricolor EVOC. Shake pail gently periodically to facilitate
spraying. Product should be stirred slowly prior to application.
