The Walker Picture System

The picture system is a very workable example of artistic design. Simple to install, it operates through a series of Hooks, Holders and Sleeves. The initial step in the system involves a one- or two-piece Molding attached to the walls of the display area. This Molding becomes a permanent part of the wall and supports the Rods and Hooks that hold the artwork. In certain situations, when artwork needs to be hung from office dividing panels, existing molding, or from pipes or rods, special sleeves are used and the one- or two-piece Molding is not needed.

Next, Sleeves and their corresponding Rods are attached over the lip of the Molding. The proper holder must then be selected.

Holders for your artwork or pictures come in a variety of designs. High Hooks and High Holders hold works with wire. Panel and Mat Holders support the bottom and top edges of panels, mats, and framed boards, while Frame Hooks secure the artwork under the top of the frame. Other Hooks, Holders and Clips are also available.
