Weil-McLain AlumiPex® tubing is an advanced
three-layer composite pipe consisting of an inner layer of cross-linked polyethylene (PEX)
... a layer of overlapped, longitudianally welded aluminum ... and an outer layer of PEX
... all bonded together with adhesives in the manufacturing process. Features include:
- The inner and outer layers of PEX protect against corrosion.
- The aluminum layer prevents oxygen penetration.
- Easy to bend to the shape desired ... will not snap back.
- Rated for 200°F. at 100 psi
- Combines the advantages of plastic pipe with the durability
and structural integrity of metal.
