Welden's SS Series Direct-Fired Steam Generators will save you money! A simple machine with a single blower for fixed output. Welden's Steam Generator requires approximately half the horsepower of comparable BTU output generators resulting in more efficient operation. This could mean a savings of several thousand kilowatts per year!

Typical concrete applications:
Through manual control of the use of a temperature controller, single forms or kilns can be cured easily with the Welden Steam Generator. The controller can be preset to build up to and maintain a predetermined temperature. After initial start-up, the temperature controller will automatically turn the generator on and off to maintain the selected preset temperature. 

Multiple forms or kilns may be cured in the same manner provided they can be cured at the same time. A combination of units can be utilized, as follows, if this is not possible.

The combination of models SS25 (single stage 2,500,000 BTU's per hour) and 7S25 (7 stage 2,5000,000 BTU's per hour) will generate 5,000,000 BTU's per hour in increments of 360,000. The 7S25 is designed to control the output to match the load. For larger applications, additional SS25's can be added. This flexible combination of Welden's Direct-Fired Steam Generators is ideal for use with motorized steam valves for individual control of multiple forms or kilns.
